The Very Revd Adrian Dorber has a B.A. in Politics and Philosophy and an MTh in Systematic Theology. He has taught at Portsmouth University and at Durham. He has been a University Chaplain and Director of Ministry and Training before becoming Dean of Lichfield. His research interests are in Systematic Theology especially the relationship between Intellectual History, Theology and Literature. The Revd Dr Canon Pete Wilcox has a B.A. in Modern History, a B.A in Theology, an M.A. in Theology and a D.Phil. He was director of St John's College Durham Urban mission Centre and part time tutor at Cranmer Hall Durham. His research interests are in Biblical Studies and the works of John Calvin. He has recently published a book on Joseph: Living the Dream: Joseph for Today (Paternoster Press, 2007). The Revd Pauline Shelton has a B.A. in English Literature and an MTh in Applied Theology. She is Local Ministry Course leader and writes material for the local ministry scheme as well as teaching on it. She is a writer, publisher and editor. Her research interests are in Theology and in particular the ministerial implications of food and drink in the Bible. The Rt Revd Dr Alan Smith has a B.A, in Theology, an M.A. in the literature of the Old Testament prophets and a PhD in different faith responses of adolescents in the West Midlands. He was the Diocesan Missioner and then Archdeacon of Stoke on Trent before becoming Bishop of Shrewsbury. He has written Growing up in Multifaith Britain (2007) and God-Shaped Mission: perspectives from the rural church (2008). The Revd David Runcorn has a B.A, in Theology, a diploma in Pastoral Studies and an Advanced Diploma in Psychology. He has taught for seven years at Trinity Theological College Bristol where he was Director of Pastoral Studies, Director of Evangelism and tutor in Spirituality. He writes in the field of Theology, Pastoral Care and Spirituality. His most recent book is a Spirituality Workbook (SPCK) published in 2006. Dr Jane Gledhill has a B.A. in History and English Literature an M.Litt in Victorian Studies and a Ph.D. She has taught English Literature at the Universities of Keele, Bristol, Kent, Lampeter and for the Open University. She has contributed to M.A. courses on Literature and Theology for and Literature and Spirituality. She has published on Literature and the First World War. Her research interests are in Modernism and also in ‘Women and Vocation' in the C19 novel. |
